Kittens are irresistible and adorable but adopting a kitten requires making a long-term commitment. Cats can live long lives (15+ years) and when they are young they are extremely active, playful, and curious. If a pet owner does not spend much time at home and has no other pets in their home, Cat Depot often recommends that pet owners also adopt an older cat or that kittens be adopted in pairs.
