About the Cat Care Clinic
Recognizing that the cost of veterinary care is a leading cause of owner surrender, Cat Depot is dedicated to making veterinary care accessible and affordable. In 2014, Cat Depot opened the Cat Care Clinic, a full-service veterinary facility tailored specifically for felines. Today, the Cat Care Clinic serves over 2,300 active clients and accommodates more than 6,000 patient visits annually.
The Cat Care Clinic is open to the public and provides affordable veterinary services for cats and kittens.

Financial Assistance
Cat Depot’s Safety Net Program is designed to support pet owners in crisis and prevent unnecessary pet relinquishment due to financial or situational hardship. Our mission is to keep cats with the families who love them by offering compassionate, comprehensive support.
We provide Financial Assistance through the Cat Care Clinic for residents of Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
As part of this effort, the VetCare Assistance Fund is available to qualifying clients based on individual circumstances. This program removes financial barriers to veterinary treatment, helping ensure that pets receive timely care and reducing the risk of owner surrender or euthanasia due to financial constraints.
Eligible clients may receive:
Sliding-scale pricing based on income level
Subsidized veterinary care, depending on financial need
