Volunteer

Volunteers are the key to our success!

Volunteers are the key to Cat Depot’s success and the heart behind our mission. We rely on volunteers daily to support the care of the cats and kittens at Cat Depot. We also have volunteer opportunities to assist with events and outreach activities. Our most needed volunteer roles help with:

  • Daily cat care
  • Adoptions
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Assist in the shelter hospital
  • Events and outreach

Requirements

  • Volunteers need to be 18+ years or older, unless enrolled in our Teen Program
  • Volunteers will need to attend a Volunteer Orientation and  training for the desired role or task
  • Volunteers pay a $25 fee due at orientation to cover t-shirt, name tag, and training materials
  • Prior experience is not needed. Cat Depot will provide all the on-site training you need to be successful.
