Bear Has Something to Say
Bear has a LOT to say. Most of it is disapproving.
And honestly? We don’t blame her.
At Cat Depot, we know exactly why she feels that way.
As a young cat, Bear found herself in one of Florida’s largest animal control facilities—just one small life in a sea of others, easy to overlook and easy to lose.
She was adopted, and for a moment, it seemed like her story would have a happy ending.
But then she escaped.
Days later, Bear returned home—injured, limping, and in obvious pain after likely being hit by a car.
Her family desperately needed help and turned to Cat Depot.
Compassionate Veterinary Care Sets Us Apart
At Cat Depot, our Shelter Hospital is fully equipped and staffed by experienced veterinarians who can perform complex, lifesaving procedures—care that most shelters simply can’t provide.
When Bear arrived, our team acted immediately. Using advanced diagnostics, including in-house X-rays, we discovered the truth:
Her leg couldn’t be saved. But Bear could.
Bear is safe. She’s recovering. And yes—she’s making her opinions known loudly every step of the way.
That voice? That spirit? That second chance?
It’s all because of donor support.
During the 2026 Giving Challenge, you have the power to be the reason more cats like Bear get the care they desperately need.
BE THE ONE who turns fear into safety.
Pain into healing.
And uncertain futures into second chances.
BE THE ONE. For cats like Bear.
